Señorío de Sarría Crianza 2019 obtains a Gold Medal at the French contest and Señorío de Sarría Reserva 2017 at Bacchus
Puente la Reina, 11 May. The wines of Bodega de Sarría, which belongs to the Appellation of Origin Navarra, have won two new gold medals in prestigious international competitions. Señorío de Sarría Crianza has received the highest award at the Challenge International du Vin, and Señorío de Sarría Reserva at the Concurso Bacchus.
These competitions, with a long history and renown in the world of wine, are an opportunity for wineries and their wines to be evaluated by expert tasters and judges from all over the world, which makes them a real challenge for winemakers.
The high standards and diversity of the Challenge International du Vin, which has been held in Bordeaux for almost half a century, contribute to its international reputation. Every year, this competition receives thousands of wines from all over the world and its jury is made up of tasters of the highest level. Señorío de Sarría Crianza has demonstrated the winery’s success in the production of high quality wines by winning a Gold Medal in the red wine category.
On its turn, Concurso Bacchus, held in Madrid, is one of the most important competitions in Spain and has a strong international presence. This event is of great importance in the world of wine and has become a benchmark event on the world wine calendar. The award is organised by the Unión Española de Catadores and seek excellence in the wine sector, with more than 1,500 samples submitted to the competition. In this competition, Señorío de Sarría Reserva, with the great award obtained, demonstrates once again the excellence of the wines produced in the winery located in Puente La Reina, Navarra.

Señorío de Sarría Crianza 2019
Made from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha and Graciano grapes and aged for twelve months in American oak barrels. It is a bright and clean garnet red wine. In the nose it deploys aromas of ripe red fruit with balsamic and undergrowth notes. In the mouth it is full-bodied, powerful, tasty, long and persistent.
Señorío de Sarría Reserva 2017
This wine is a blend of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Graciano grape varieties, aged for two years in French and American oak barrels and a minimum of one year in the bottle. It shows an intense garnet-red colour. In the nose it deploys aromas of ripe black fruit, with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, toast and spices. In the mouth it is elegant, structured, balanced and round.
